Now a days, it seems like so called Internet Marketing Gurus are sprouting up everywhere. I mean.. You read success story after success story about unknown individuals who suddenly earns 4-5-6 figures out in the blue… Some times it feels like they have done it over night! For some, it can be frustrating and demotivating to see a guy, who “suddenly” becomes millionaire and earns a living on the internet and hasn’t done shit to get there.. Well, if that was the case you had a pretty good reason to get pissed at other people, huh.. 
See, becoming a successful Internet Marketing Guru is like becoming successful with anything else, it takes dedicated work and strong focus along with a lot of other things towards achieving your particular goal.
Lets say that you want to become an Internet Marketing Guru
If this is your actual goal or just being good it at doesn’t matter. The way to success and greatness is the same. What you wanna start with is finding your reason why and what the price is you are willing to pay to reach your goal. The reason why is very important. When you face a lot of obstacles and rejection from the outside world, you have to look inside and remind yourself why you are doing it. If your reason why is strong and sincere, it will pull you forward through the tough times and function as motivation for accomplishing more in the future.
The next thing you do is deciding that you are going to become excellent at Internet Marketing. Really make a strong and powerful decision. Make it clear to yourself that you are gonna learn this no matter what it takes!
When this is in order, you have to commit to work it EVERY single day. And if you have a hard time finding the necessary hours to dedicate to Internet Marketing you might need to start using some Time Management.
Now, its easy to get overwhelmed by all the information out there. So what you wanna do is taking one single subject and master it to the point where you can do it effortlessly. So this process can take anywhere from 1 month to a year, the important thing is that you keep persisting and don’t give up. If you feel like you are banging your head against the wall then change your approach just a bit and then march steady forward. It’s very important to have a sense of work ethic when it comes to building your own business. There is a little story that gives a good perspective on work ethic. Its about a hare and a turtle. One day they decided to see who could get from one end of the forest to the other end. The stakes were high – the loser will provide, whatever the winner wants for a whole day. The arrogant hare teased the turtle about how easy he would beat him and he should give up already. Finally they began the race, and the hare ran like a maniac and there seemed to be no question about who was winning. The little turtle just lifted on leg in front of the other in a slow steady movement.. As the hare looked back, he saw the disappearing turtle in the horizon. Suddenly a butterfly crossed the hares eyes and hare got distracted and followed the butterfly. After a while the butterfly wasn’t funny anymore and hare got back on the road. As the hare was getting close to the outskirts of the forest, it saw a little squirrel running around at the root of the trees, looking for acorns. It couldn’t resist to jump after it. The squirrel was surprised by the hare and started running deep into the forest with the hare on its tail, meanwhile the little turtle made sure that every step it took was towards to the goal.. Suddenly the hare remembered the race and gave everything it had to reach the end of the forest, but when it reached the goal, it realised that it had lost to the little turtle who was already there. The hare was so confused, how could the slow, none agile turtle beat the incredibly fast hare, how? Well, the turtle said, “I just made sure that every step I took was towards my goal!” The lesson to take from this short story is simple. Its better to do a little EVERY single day, than it is to do a lot and get distracted by something unimportant and lose sight of the goal. What you will notice with this approach is that you will gain momentum that you will otherwise lose if you were distracted all the time.

One of the guys that really opened my eyes to this amazing industry was the author of “Crush It!” Gary Vaynerchuk. Among a lot of things, he explains how to capitalise on the internet and the possibilities of making a business there. If you are new to Internet Marketing or an experienced, I strongly recommend the book either way!
Another guy, that in my opinion is a pioneer in this industry is Mike Dillard with his Magnetic Sponsoring. He introduces you to Attraction Marketing which revolutionised the Network Marketing Industry, by combining it with Internet Marketing and Affiliate Marketing.
